Think you are in good hands with State Farm? Maybe not!
It was recently uncovered that State Farm and their staff were lying to the court, hiring medical “experts” to review and disprove customer claims.
On July 22, 2013, Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Diane Ward issued a written ruling sanctioning State Farm $20,000 for having lied in discovery responses. She had previously stricken an affirmative defense raised in the lawsuit by State Farm's attorneys. State Farm attempted to cover up evidence revealing the extreme amount of money the company routinely pays to their so-called experts: Doctors who make hundreds of thousands of dollars helping State Farm claim that injured persons are not really hurt!
The evidence we have exposed suggests several South Florida doctors make millions of dollars a year helping insurance companies at the risk of injured persons. Many of these doctors are close confidants and business partners with the insurance attorneys that hire them.
When selecting a personal injury law firm or attorney, it is important to hire somebody that maintains a database on the connections between insurance companies, the doctors they hire, and the attorneys that help them in cases demonstrating corrupt behavior.
